Learning Target 2 (38 minutes):
Students will use Microsoft Word 2010, for creating a kind letter.
You will use a template for a flyer in MS Word (File>New>Flyer>Event Flyer)
Create a flyer for one of the following three events:
- A birthday party at a local fun spot (Elitches, Park, Restaurant, etc.)
- A fund raiser for a school field trip
- A Band/Choir concert at NGMS
Be sure you use your skills learned on the earlier lesson, and also use the Insert Ribbon to put in shapes and objects.
Older Work
Students will open the following document and Enable Editing, and save it to their H drive in their Comp_Apps folder.
Students will complete the following tasks after watching a demonstration.
- Start
- All Programs
- Open Microsoft Office folder
- Open Microsoft Word
- Right click W icon on your taskbar & pin it
- Customize the toolbar together - be sure to add the following items:

Students will complete the Cyberbullying/Internet Safety Test at Schoology

Students will learn more about copyright by completing the worksheet (fill in the blanks - yes you have to type it!) for the CyberBee website.
