Prezi Story Lesson

  1. Create a Prezi Account
  2. Think of one of your favorite movies or stories
  3. You will be creating a Prezi of the story line of the movie or story.
  4. ONE IMAGE FROM THE ACTUAL MOVIE OR BOOK ITSELF IS ALLOWED FOR THE INTRODUCTION.
  5. The rest of the images need to be found through creative commons, and will be of the people, things, items, animals, etc., but CANNOT be images from the actual movie or book. (Hint: Dr. Suess, The Lorax is VERY hard to do)

You may NOT use the copyrighted images from the actual book or a movie of the same. You may find images of real animals for example, actual trees, etc. that are available through the creative commons.

  1. Go to Creative Commons and find images that are common and a key part of the story - save them to a new folder (name it your LastNameBookName) you create inside your folder for this class.
  2. Check out this link for digital storytelling.
  3. This is a complete guide to using and creating Prezi
  4. Begin by telling the story - not verbatim (roll over for the definition)
  5. REMEMBER this is the story line - NOT all the words! It might even be better just to sort of be like the Narrator.
  6. Here is a quick one of The Day Jimmy's Boa Ate the Wash
Someone explaining the story - not reading it!

Exactly the same as!!

Creative Commons
