Students will create a process journal for our keyboarding practice!
- Download the journal for Tech 6 from Here
- File > Make a Copy!
- Rename it: LastFirstReflection+AssessmentTouchTypingGPD
- Click on the folder next to the file name in the document to move to a folder
- Then you will need to Create a New folder
- Name it TechGPD
- Then click DONE to Move it to the Folder
- In order to share a with tech teacher, please click on SHARE and type in my name: Jan Hulstrom
- Click on Advanced
- Uncheck the boxnext to where it says:

- It will ask you if you want to skip sending invitations?
- Click OK
Grab your Name Cards and put them up!
- Classroom Reminders - grab your name tags and open them up!
- Open Microsoft Word:

- If you did not print yet, you will get a chance after our Typing Pretest

- Follow this link and sign in with Google - then choose YOUR GPD on Typing.com and log in with Google!
- Choose the Typing Test and the 3 Minute for 6th and 7th grade, 5 minute for 8th grade!
- If you have your Name Card done:
- Then: Move on down to step 6
- Else: Print your nametags when approved (see earlier work below)
- Choose the Games Tab and Play!

Create a Schoology Account
- Link to Schoology and join your class!!!
- If you already have an account, sign in and join our class
- If you DON"T have an account associated with your student email address, create one!
- Here are your codes - find your class and Sign up as a student
- These are the directions you need to follow to create a log in for you:
Schoology Access Code: is on your class web page
You will need to
- Double click this access code (listed below by your GPD in the grey chart) and press Cntl+C (copy)
- Follow this link to Schoology
- Select Join
- Select Student
- Click into the Access Code area
- Press Cntl+V (Paste) the the Access Code area (it should be on your computer's clipboard)
- Click the Continue button
- Type in your First and Last Name (USING A CAPITAL FIRST LETTER IN EACH)
- Open another tab and sign into your Gmail
- Compose a new email - type your name in the to: and click it so it makes the email addressed to you
- Click and highlight your email address following your name (where it appears with an x next to it)
- Hold Control key, press the C key (COPY)
- Paste that into the email address of the register screen
- Type in your network password as your password (and again to confirm it)
- Click the Register button.
